《泊》郭書瑜個展   2026.09.24

Cockroaches symbolize a tenacious vitality, while coffee beans carry bitterness and the everyday. VENOM SESSION depicts toxicity and mimicry, whereas Uneqi, a collaboration with AI, explores the boundaries between humanity and technology. Together, these creations revolve around a central core: those fascinating yet repulsive existences, and how we define beauty, value, and memory.

Rin Northwind is a creator whose work spans the fields of art, design, and entertainment. Her pieces are characterized by vivid, bright colors and the vocabulary of pop culture, yet they always harbor a subtle, lingering sense of toxicity and dissonance within the frame. She excels at juxtaposing seemingly conflicting elements, allowing viewers to be captivated at first glance before gradually discovering the deeper reflections hidden beneath the surface.

In her solo exhibition BITTERSWEET, Rin Northwind converges these creative threads into a brand-new experience. She attempts to shed a new light on those existences that are loathed, neglected, and rejected, yet have never truly disappeared. She also invites viewers to reconsider whether our prejudices have caused us to miss out on an alternative way of seeing the world.
